What is your role at Mid-Cape? Hardware Supervisor, Orleans location.
What led you to a career with Mid-Cape? I went into the Hyannis store in February of 2002 to buy paint and saw a sign that they were hiring. At the time, I was employed by well-known local artist Sam Barber. I was director of the Cape Cod Guild of Fine Arts and Sam’s custom framer (unfortunately, it was only part time). I saw an opportunity for advancement and took a chance. I filled out an application and was immediately called back for an interview. I was hired on the spot.

What is your biggest accomplishment at Mid-Cape so far? Being with MCHC for almost 17 years I have had several accomplishments. I started in Hyannis as a Hardware Associate/Cashier, and I worked in the yard for about a year. Then moved back into the store and became Hardware Supervisor until that location closed. I worked in South Dennis for a couple of years before I relocated to the Orleans store, and after some time I became Hardware Supervisor in that location. As I see it, every day is a new experience bringing with it new accomplishments.
